We, the undersigned, believe a renewable energy plan must not endanger our four most important non-renewables: our families, our homes, our community, and our land.

For reasons of health and safety associated with noise, shadow flicker, and other concerns, wind turbines should not be built any closer than 1 mile from  homes, schools, nursing homes, and businesses. We agree and ask the town of Wayne, NJ to repeal the current ordinance and adopt one that provides this safe setback for the protection of all residents in our town.
